Musician and overall Badass-Texan Annie Clark is about to get her hands bloody yall.
Annie Clark, lead vocalist and founder of ‘St.Vincent’ Is directing her first film titled XX through publishers Magnet Films. While it’s still a little vague, what we do know, is that it’s an anthology film (think something in the vein of The ABC’s of Death) centered around an All-Female group of directors and acting leads.
Having personally been a fan of not only Annie, but also horror films, it’ll be especially interesting to see how Annie’s being a musician reflects on her directing style. With a lot of these anthology films, it’s always good to have your expectations for visual quality set to zero, that way every little bloody death or well shot scene knocks you right on your ass. Rest assured, we’ll be watching this intently for more updates.
