All we’re missing is Alfred Molina.
Justice League filming is already underway. But, that hasn’t stopped Warner Brothers from adding more cast members. Having already cast one Spider-Man alum in J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, WB has continued to pick from the Spider-Man cast by adding original Green Goblin: Willem Dafoe. Although, he won’t play any sort of villain, as many would suspect.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dafoe “is playing a good guy in a role that will see him appear in both parts of the JL movies.” Who or what us playing remains unknown. I’m not overly familiar with roles he could play in Justice League outside of the members themselves, so your guess is as good as mine. With that being said, it’s never a mistake to add talent, and Willem Dafoe is certainly that.
With all the talent astounding attached to Justice League, I wish we we’re getting a different director. Zack Snyder with Batman v Superman showed his inability to juggle large casts and multiple plot lines. The cast of Justice League only continues to grow, and the talent won’t mean anything if Snyder is unable to tie it all together. I guess we’ll find out come November 17, 2017 when Justice League: Part One releases.
