No sleep til Brooklyn.

A new trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turltes: Out of the Shadows dropped today. Most of the trailer is just more of the same, but you can check it out for yourself below:

I have to say, this movie looks really stupid. But stupid enough to the point that it’s almost endearing. I hated the first film, but Out of the Shadows looks like it could be a marked improvement. It looks a lot more enjoyable at the very least. I can see this film being a sort of guilty pleasure, the fast food of cinema.

At the same time there is a good chance this movie good just be terrible. I don’t have a stake in it either way. I’ll give this movie a chance regardless. Out of the Shadows at least seems like it’s placing much greater emphasis on the turtles themselves, even if they do look like talking penises, which was the biggest mistake the first film made.

Megan Fox looks as unremarkable in this film as she usually does, with her greatest asset being eye candy, even in a supposed kids movie. Stephen Amell looks like he’ll make a pretty good Casey Jones, and the inclusion of Bebop and Rocksteady looks like it’ll up in the ante in ridiculousness. I think the most I can say about this film is that it certainly won’t  be boring.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows hits theaters June 3rd.

Here’s the synopsis:TMNT2Posters-Feb.17.gif

Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael return to cinemas this summer to battle bigger, badder villains, alongside April O’Neil (Megan Fox), Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett), and a newcomer: the hockey-masked vigilante Casey Jones (Stephen Amell). After supervillain Shredder escapes custody, he joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry) and two dimwitted henchmen, Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) and Rocksteady (WWE Superstar Stephen “Sheamus” Farrelly), to unleash a diabolical plan to take over the world. As the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, they find themselves facing an even greater evil with similar intentions: the notorious Krang.
