The upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming’s production is just starting to kick into full gear, but it continues to add hilarious people to its cast. Today, that funny person is comedian/Bill Cosby awareness-raiser Hannibal Buress. According to Variety, Buress has been cast to play an undisclosed role, as seems to be the case for every character not named Peter Parker, Tony Stark, or Aunt May.
While I’m sure it’ll be a pretty small role, I still dig this news. Buress is an extremely funny guy, one who is just naturally hilarious. With a cast already stacked with the likes of Donald Glover, Martin Starr, Michael Keaton, Robert Downey Jr., and now Hannibal Buress, this may turn out to be the funniest film Marvel has put out yet.
While the film has officially started shooting today, that hasn’t stopped Marvel from adding more people to the cast. Anyone else you’d like to see join up?
Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters July 7th, 2017.
