This is groundbreaking news guys.
I don’t know how many of you out there are excited for Transformers: The Last Knight, the terribly titled 5th entry into this dreadful franchise, but I’m going to guess it’s not very many (I know I’m not). This news is for the few who are. You guys may have noticed the absence of one the series’ mainstays Tyrese Gibson in Transformers: Extinction, a film that somehow managed to get made without him.
Well have no fear, as Gibson is returning to the franchise with it’s latest entry, reprising his extremely unmemorable role as the generic character whose name you can’t remember without looking it up. Go ahead, try.
It’s Robert Epps by the way, and I only know that due to Gibson mentioning it in the Instagram photo in which he announced his return. In the photo you can see Gibson next to my main man Michael B. I’m disturbed by the lack of explosions surrounding him, but nevertheless, here’s the announcement:
Transformers: The Last Knight is set to desecrate theaters June 23rd, 2017.
