Plus, Mark Ruffalo may be done shooting!

Thor: Ragnarok is currently in the midst of shooting as I write this, but that hasn’t stopped us from getting our first looks at the film in the form of set photos. From these photos, I’ve been able to piece together a theory on who for sure isn’t making it out of Ragnarok.

WARNING. SPOILERS.

Alas, it looks as if we may lose Thor’s luscious locks of hair in this superhero threequel, made evident by the set photos below. I know, I know, I’m as distraught as  you are. Come, let us have a moment of silence in remembrance.

Hemsworth in Full Thor3 Costume!!!

In all seriousness, I dig Thor’s new look. What causes this change, I don’t know. I’m sure it’ll be a shocking story development and change the character of Thor as we know it. Or maybe Thor just felt the need to reinvent himself. Who’s to say? it’s unknown whether Thor’s costume (which is remained fairly static across the franchise) will change alongside his hair, but considering Ruffalo inconspicuously hid the costume, I’d say it’s a pretty safe bet.

Another interesting development to come from Instagram photos: Mark Ruffalo may have already finished shooting! Via Thor: Ragnarok costar Tessa Thompson:

It’s interesting that Ruffalo is finished shooting so soon, as I think we were all under the impression that this would be an intergalactic buddy road movie” starring Hulk and Thor. But with the news that Ruffalo is already finished shooting his parts, Hulk may have a smaller role in the film than previously thought. Then again, Hulk is completely CGI, so maybe he isn’t needed for certain motion capture shots. It’s impossible to say right now.

They’re some pretty cool photos though.
