Luke Cage has been out for about four days now, which means many of have already binged the entire series. If you’re anything like me, you have fallen into a crippling depression wondering when you’ll be able to return to the Netflix side of the MCU. Well have no fear true believers, Netflix knows we are all but a bunch of addicts, and have revealed the release date for their next Marvel offering: Iron Fist!

The announcement comes to us in the form of a short teaser video. Enjoy.

March 17th, 2017 is our date folks. I doubt this news is going to shock anyone, as it is but a day off from the Daredevil Season 2 date. Still, it’s nice to have confirmation on which day we’ll have to book off from work to watch this thing.

Along with a release date, Netflix has released a new still image from Iron Fist. The picture depicts Finn Jones (of Game of Thrones fame) about to go give a guy an iron fist (I’m sorry).

I think it’s safe to assume that Iron Fist has just finished kicking copious amount of ass, and the dude who is about to get clocked in the face isn’t too long for this world. Considering the fact that Iron Fist is a martial arts master, here’s hoping that the fight choreography is more Daredevil, and less Luke Cage and Jessica Jones.

Let’s check out a synopsis for the show:

Fifteen years after being presumed dead in a plane crash, Danny Rand (Finn Jones) mysteriously returns to New York City determined to reclaim his birthright and family company. However, when a long-destined enemy rises in New York, this living weapon is forced to choose between his family’s legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist.

Sounds good. I have yet to finish Luke Cage, but as soon as I do I’ll be counting down the days until Iron Fist‘s release.

Are you guys excited for Iron Fist? Which of the Marvel-Netflix offerings is your favorite? Sound off in the commends below!
