Wes Anderson’s next film is an animated movie about talking dogs. This isn’t new news, this is known information. The new information we’re getting manifests itself in the film’s title: Isle of Dogs. Plus, we’ve received confirmation that this thing has officially started filming, and who exactly will be in it! Let’s listen to Wes Anderson tell us all about it:
We’ve got the usual Anderson regulars here: Bill Murray, Edward Norton (who makes a delightful cameo appearance in the video), Jeff Goldblum, and Harvey Keitel, as well as Anderson newcomers Bryan Cranston, Scarlett Johannson, and Yoko Ono. The split second of footage from the film looks very Fantastic Mr. Fox-esque, which is good news for all people involved.
This isn’t news that is really worth going wild about, but it’s is nice to get an update on anything Wes Anderson related. Especially when said news includes dogs. Who doesn’t love dogs?
We’ll keep you updated on any dog related Wes Anderson news.
P.S. Wes Anderson reminds me of a Wes Anderson character.
