The first trailer for Trey Edwards Shults’ (Krishna) next film, It Comes At Night, is finally here, and it looks bloody fantastic and weird. I’m not exactly sure what the hell is going on in this trailer, all that I know is that I’m into it.
Check it out:
Man, I’m completely sold on this thing’s weirdness. Like I said, based on the trailer alone, I’m still not sure what It Comes At Night is about, all that I know is that I’m intrigued. When you couple this with the fact that this is an A24 movie, and I’m there opening night baby.
Plus, Joel Edgerton’s in it. That’s always a good thing.
While I have not actually seen Krishna, I’ve only heard great things about it. After this trailer, I think I’m more inclined to check it out, at least to tide me over until It Comes At Night actually comes out.
Along with the trailer, we were also treated to an fittingly mysterious poster:
Yup, still don’t know anything (except that this dog is 100% dead). Maybe a synopsis will help?
A father will stop at nothing to protect his wife and son from a malevolent, mysterious presence terrorizing them right outside their doorstep.
Well, that’s equally vague. Seems A24 is playing their cards close to the chest with this one and we’ll be going into this thing blind. Which I’m totally on board with. I’m intrigued enough by this trailer, and I can’t wait to see how weird it’ll be to see this movie play out.
It Comes At Night is set to release on August 25th. What did you guys think of the trailer? interested as I am? Sound off in the comments below.
