The first full-length trailer for J.A. Bayona’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom hits the the internet sometime tomorrow. Until then, Universal has treated to with a behind-the-scenes featurette detailing the making of him the film. The video showcases some dinosaurs, Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas-Howard talking about how great the film is, and, most importantly, our first look at Jeff Goldblum‘s Ian Malcolm.
Check it out:
Aside from the small bit with Goldblum, which is always welcomed, this little featurette has done more to increase my excitement for the film than anything else has. Ignoring the reminder that Colin Trevorrow is still involved, everything else in the video looked pretty good.
In the small bits of footage they showed off, we probably saw more animatronic (featherless) dinos than in the entirety of Jurassic World. All the footage actually looked good, especially with 100% less Trevorrow behind the camera. I’m confident in Bayona‘s ability to direct the hell out of this movie. There may be hope yet.
We’ll have a much clearer idea of what to expect out of Fallen Kingdom when the trailer goes live tomorrow. Stay tuned.
